Good afternoon Lia and Silvian,

I just wanted to drop you a line (and apologize for not writing in March but you have been in our thoughts) to let you know how much Sharmini and I enjoyed our stay at your hotel. We have recommended The Cancun Suites El Patio (www.cancun-suites.com) to all of our friends. It’s a great place to get away to (from Ottawa, Canada when it is freezing cold here) without booking a bigger more expensive crowded hotel in Cancun and, it also afforded us a much longer stay in beautiful Cancun. Sharmini especially enjoyed the care which your staff devoted to looking after us and to maintaining the hotel. Everyone was just so helpful. The hotel’s Mexican hacienda charm gave us the feeling that we were actually visiting Mexican friends and living in their home. The bougainvillaeas in the courtyard reminded Sharmini of her native Sri Lanka and brought back the best of her childhood memories during her down time.

Cancun is fantastic, close to Cozumel and historical Chichen Itza, and you can count on us (along with our good friends - Norm and Fran) booking a return stay in January or February 2009. We’ll be in touch soon but first we have to figure out our finances - the global down turn has taken a 35% bit out of our investments. But we are not going to let that keep us away - life is just too short. Memories are hard to forget. Money, you can always make more. Time once spent is gone forever.

It was great getting to know you and thanks for sharing your extensive world travels with us. Is there any place that you have not traveled to?

If planning on visiting Cancun this is defenitely the best getaway. Excellent service and hospitality. A petit mexican hotel with beautiful courtyard covered with exotic plants. Loved it.

“Best Hotel in Downtown Cancun”

I really enjoyed staying my last night in downtown Cancun at this hotel. The room was very clean and the staff "the best".
This hotel is very close to the bus station which is a plus.
The area is very safe.
I had a early flight and the staff had a taxi waiting for me for the airport.
Thanks to all at El Patio.
Hope to see you all again....

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Cancun Inn - Suites El Patio. The staff was warm and welcoming, the courtyard was charming, and we found our stay very relaxing. It was a great base for our exploration of Cancun and the surrounding area.

I was quoted $56 US. When I arrived this was converted to $672 Pesos. I then said that I wanted to pay in cash US but was denied. My actual cost turned out to be $63 US.

Credit Cards are the BANK'S business not ours. If you are quoted in Euros or USD , the payment is going to be transformed into pesos and then retransformed into any other currency. Sometimes the charge will follow several transformations and other bank fees may apply . Example, Bank of America charges 5% on every transaction done in a foreign country. Maybe other banks also have the same . With our low rates , we cannot absorb variations nor bank fees. In order to HELP our guests may pay by depositing in our different currencies accounts. the exact amount they were quoted.
An approximately exchange rate is posted in our website under RATES. It is DAILY posted in our front desk. It is ciient's responsibility to choose the best method of paying for the merchandise they buy. In order to avoid exchange rates you can pay cash in the same currency you were quoted.
