“Best Service We've Ever Had”

This is very late but I thought I should still give a rave about our fantastic trip to Le Blanc last November. We've stayed at a number of all inclusives and always choose a 5 star (Caribbean Standard for All-inclusive).

Service --Of the places we've stayed I have to give Le Blanc hands down 1st place for Service. I have never had so many people seem genuinely pleased to help me in any way. Every request is greeted with a warm "It's a pleasure" and they actually seem to mean it. Best, most well-informed, friendly staff we have ever encountered.

Butler Service -- Available on each floor. Sometimes he was at his desk, others times no, but he was always available by phone and delivered any request promptly and with a smile. I expect when he wasn't at his desk, he was busy delivering special pillows, mini-bar requests, etc. to the other guests on his floor.

Rooms -- Lovely rooms. A bit smaller than some of the other resorts we've stayed at but we had plenty of room, a comfortable bed, a great shower and amazing views from our ocean view suite. I wish they had larger balconies to enjoy, but the European balcony would not deter me from staying here again or recommending this place to friends and family.

Pools -- The infinity pool was beautiful. You really did feel like you were about to swim out into the ocean. Great Views and great swim up bar service. The activities staff greeted us each morning as we walked down to the pool to suggest the best available chairs and set out plenty of towels for us including extra ones to use as head and/or leg pillows. And each time we exited the pool and used our towels, they were replaced with fresh dry ones immediately without request.

Food -- We didn't have a bad meal. We enjoyed all of the restaurants. For all inclusives, it was well above par. Don't expect New York or Chicago 5 star restaurant quality chefs, but the food was fresh, well prepared and quite tasty.

Beach -- The water was beautiful. The beach was a bit narrow, but it was much wider in front of Le Blanc than any other hotel in the area. We walked down the beach to the south and many places had no beach at all. The beach in front of Le Blanc even though narrow was never crowded.

Activities -- They had such a great activities staff. We took the towel art class and the cooking class (ceviche and guacamole). They were great b/c the staff teaching them were great. And these were not big group classes available only at a certain time. We asked about taking a class one afternoon when it started to rain and the response was "What time would you like to start?" The same is true for the gym. We took a Pilates Reformer class and a stretching class. Both were arranged at our convenience and were private lessons. These type of indvidualized inclusions and amazing service is what sets Le Blanc apart from other resorts.

Spa --We went 4 out of our 5 days. Fantastic treatments and a great hydrotherapy room for use before or after your service. We try the spa at every resort we go to and frequent the spas at home as well and I would rank their services and facilities as some of the very best I've experienced.

Location -- We usually stay a little farther away from the action, but I had really wanted to try Le Blanc after reading so many great reviews. It's close enough to the action that we walked down to where all the bars/clubs are every night. We're not really partyers, but it was fun to people watch and then retreat to our luxury resort. We did try the European Bungee which was a blast. It's not one of those spread out tropical resorts. It's a Cancun high rise with beautiful, clean, modern appointments.

In conclusion, if you want to stay close to the action, but in a quiet, romantic luxury resort where you will be treated like royalty -Le Blanc is the place for you.

As a little background, we are frequent cruisers and enjoy the service and attention we get aboard ship. However, as a surprise for my wife to celebrate our 20th anniversary, I decided to book a land resort. Based on the reviews here on TA combined with the "Adults Only" status of Le Blanc, I booked 4 nights through the July 4th week-end.

We had a 3 hour flight down on Delta from Atlanta on Wednesday. Uneventful even arrived a little early. Made it through customs with realitive ease. One note here - there were 4 long lines through customs after you pick up your bags. We did not see any directional signs saying USA citizens use this line, so we hopped in one and waited. Roughly 15 minutes to the front of the line. The people ahead of us were having their bags x-rayed. When we got to the front, the officer asked us where our flight originated and we said Atlanta. Upon hearing that, he directed us around the x-ray machine and on ahead to the guy who stamps your tourist card. Maybe there is a separate line for US folks, but we didn't see it.

After exiting customs, we "ran the gauntlet" past the time share people and exited the building. I had transport set up with USA transfers. Great guys, were standing just outside the terminal right where their email said they would be. Off to the resort we go.

Upon arrival, the driver checks in with the security guard who opens the gate. At the top of the drive is Le Blanc. The exterior is a simple elegant design. The bellboy greeted us as we exited the van - by name I might add - and handed us a chilled towel that was scented with an awesome smell that I never figured out what it was. If I could buy the stuff in a spray bottle - I would. The same guy will offer you a cold bottle of water when you exit the front door to go shopping and meets you upon return with - you guessed it - a chilled scented towel. Entering the lobby, you find not the typical hotel lobby with a front desk, but a large elegant room with a series of desks along one side of the room. Each desk is a separate check in station. A young man stood and greeted us by name and welcomed us to Le Blanc. A glass of chilled coconut milk was given to us as well. Check in goes fast and our Butler Joel led us to our room on the 3rd floor.

Joel gave us a tour of our room, briefed us on the services he can provide, and suggested we have something to eat. Joel was great!

We ate breakfast each day at BlanInternational (which doubles as a buffet for breakfast). We had dinner at each resturant and enjoyed the meal each time, thinking surely tomorrow would not be this good, only to find that yes it would be. Be careful about ordering appetizers - because as soon as the waiter walks away, the servers start bringing appetizers "house specialties" regardless if you order another. The first night we would up with way too much food. After that we looked forward to that night's special starter. Lunch each day was at the Terrace on the 3rd level. Partially because it was next to the pool we frequented and partially because the nachos were great.

All 3 pools are nice. The main pool is large and has a swim up bar. However, we preferred the smaller pool up on the 3rd level. It was like only us and one other couple even knew it existed. The upper pool always had a great breeze compared to little breeze at the main pool. The minute we sat down, a server came up and asked what we wanted to drink and then brought it in a bucket of ice to keep it cold.

The attitude of all of the workers was excellent. Everyone greeted us and seemed really glad we were there even as we were leaving. On our last day, as someone learned we were going home, each one asked if we enjoyed our stay and when would be coming back.

We are not sure when - but we will be back.

I just returned from vacationing at Le Blanc with my daughter and a friend of hers. I had an amazing experience! The staff at the resort were warm and friendly. They made certain that our every wish was granted. The Spa is an absolute must. This is the best getaway for pure relaxation and if your looking for action, Le Blanc has some of that as well with live entertainment daily. Le Blanc's D.J. is good, he plays mixed music to accomodate everyone. Once you stay at Le Blanc, you won't want to stay anywhere else in cancun. We Will definitly be back, at least I know I will be back.

My husband and I just returned from a week long stay at LeBlanc Spa Resort in Cancun. This was our best vacation ever - even better than our honeymoon, which was also in the Cancun area!

We're members of the Palace Premier club, so we received VIP treatment from the beginning. We were picked up at the airport in a Lincoln Navigator, and a staff member, who accompanied the driver, checked us in while we were driving to the resort. We were able to go straight to our room, accompanied by our butler who offered to unpack our bags for us. We were having drinks at the pool within 30 minutes of our leaving the Cancun airport!

The food and drinks were phenomenal and far exceeded our expectations. We've stayed at other Palace resorts where the food is okay to good, so we weren't sure what to expect. The food was so much better than we had anticipated, especially the 7 course meal with wine pairings. The Oriental restaurant had phenomenal sushi - better than anything we can get in our home town.

We made daily use of the Spa and work out facilities. I've never been to a better spa. Their massage tables are electric and move to position you wherever the therapist needs. The pedicure chairs were awesome, too. They were actually eletric massage chairs, so you could get a massage while also getting your pedicure.

We're into fitness, so gyms are important to us. Le Blanc's gym was great, and we were even able to have private Pilates classes a few times while we were there. It helped us minimize the weight gain from all the great food and drink we were enjoying!

The service was impeccable - everyone bent over backwards to make our stay perfect. The rooms were beautiful as were the pools, the beach and the hotel grounds.

I really only had a few minors things that could be improved. The drink service down on the beach was a little slow compared to the pool, but not so much that it bothered me. Also, I wish the entire place were smoke free, but at least the floor we were on and our room were totally smoke free.

If you're looking for a relaxing vacation where you're pampered every minute, I can highly recommend LeBlanc. My husband and I are already planning our next trip there!

“Le Blanc, Simply the Best”

My husband and I spent 6 amazing days ( June 27- July 2) at this wonderful all inclusive resort. I can say, without any hesitation, that this is the best resort we have ever stayed at! The service we received here was impecable. We met the nicest people ever who made our stay unforgetable( Edgar and Edgar, Jesus, Lucienda, Issac, Mario, Denise, Tereasa, Karen, and our special butlers to name a few). The hotel and the grounds are breathtaking with the best beach in Cancun as its background!

Room:

We booked an Oceanfront Honeymoon Suite, 409 with a spectacular view of the beach as well as the main infinity pool. The room had everything we need including a huge jacuzzi, a two person shower complete with body jets, mini bar, mini fridge, snacks, robes, slippers, I could go on and on. We even had our jacuzzi prepared for us 2 nights by our butler. The only negative was there was no true balcony to sit on.

Pools:

The pools are all beautiful with a great breeze all of the time. We spent most our time in the main pool which overlooks the ocean. At any given time it was never crowded. You never had to "fight for a chair" like many other resorts. The pool concierge would take towels for both of us and lay them wherever we wanted as well as set up an umbrella and bring an icebucket for bottled water. Here we were served endless drinks and snacks by the wonderful servers. Whenever we said thank you or if we needed anything it was always "it's my pleasure". Though it was never expected, we tipped. These folks worked very hard to make our stay memorable. In the evening we went to the lagoon pool as the sun sets on this side. After dinner we walked out to the gazebo in the lagoon ( if you are lucky you may see a croccodile) or sat by the pool to have a drink. One evening Edgar fed the iguanas for us while we sipped on one of the MANY cocktails he made for us during our stay. We never used the 2nd floor pool but from what we saw it was nice as well.

Beach:

Amazing!! The color of the water and the white sand was very pretty. The water was too rough for swimming though. But here we were served drinks as well.

Bars:

There were plenty of bars spread around the resort so they were never crowded. We enjoyed the lobby bar the best. Here we met another Edgar and Jesus. Both Edgars and Jesus teamed up and put on a mini magic show...very cool and prepard many amazing drinks for us.

Dining:

- Blancterrace - The 7 course meal was unbelievable! This dining adventure was served at the blancterrace. Each dish was paired with wine. I cannot even remember everything we ate but here is what I can remember: Shrimp, sushi, beef stuffed with lobster, mexican chili, champagne sorbet, chocolates, grouper, salmon, tuna. Unfortunately we forgot to take photos

- Blancorient- Excellent with many choices of sushi and seafood. See photos.

- Blancitalia- Great food with many choices of bread. My husband had a huge steak and I had a shrimp appitizer and the lobster with open ravioli. Say hola to Issac! See photos

-Blancinternational - By far our favorite so we ate here twice. Our fav dish was the chateaubriand ( huge filet of steak) See photos.

Because of the tours we took we did not get to eat lunch or breakfast very often. What we had was incredible though! I had the grouper panini one day and a cheeseburger another(we had to split it it was so big) and my husband had a huge plate of nachos for lunch. And this was all served poolside! Breakfast had a great variety of fruits, eggs, meats, cheeses and so on.

Tours:

A few tours were included in our stay. We went on the Isla Mujeres and the Paradise Snorkeling tours. The Isla Mujeres tour departed at 9:30 and we didn't get back until around 5:30. The first part included a booze cruise to the island (the best part of the trip) and here you could take a taxi to swim with the dolphins, snorkel, scuba dive, or take a tour of the island. I think the only thing included in the free tour was the tour of the island. We decided to stay at the resort on Isla Mujeres and relax. Not a good idea. The resort there was not even close to being as nice as Le Blanc. It was very hot and not much to do but sit at the bar and drink and eat (included) the food here wasn't very good though. We wished we had taken the tour of the island instead of just sitting around. The second part of the trip we got back on the booze boat and went to the downtown area of Isla Mujeres and went shopping. This was fun but very hot and every store seemed to have the same stuff. My adivce would be to just do some shopping in Cancun and you wouldn't have to spend a whole day away from Le Blanc.

The Paradise Snorkeling was just ok as well. We had to leave at 7:45am and didn't get back until 3:30pm. The first part of the
tour we took a catamaran out to the reef and snorkeled for 45 mins. with about 150 other people and then went back and ate(included). Other activities like horseback riding, scuba diving, more snorkeling, jet skiing, driving your own speedboat, parasailing, and massages were offered for a fee. We didn't do any of them so we sat on the beach until it was time to go. We kind of wished we would have just spent these two days at Le Blanc instead of doing the tours.

I apologize for this review being so long but I felt I had to give this resort what it deserves. We try to go to different places when we travel but this will definately be a place we return to many more times!
