Stayed here for 1 week in early feb on a pricleine rate of $110 inc tax. Upon arrival the front desk staff were not overly friendly, and simply got on with the job. We asked about an ocean view room, or upgrading to all incusive (for $99 per person per night ) and they all seemed to be too much hassle for the girl on the desk so we didnt bother, That is the only negative thing i will say about Omni. From that point on it was fantastic.
The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the cleaning staff are super friendly. The waiters are always cheery and chatty. Juan and Donat at the poolside entertainment were great fun. And always going around talking to guests and putting a smile on everyones face. They offer a nightly outing to a local club (for $45 all you can drink, which includes 1 way bus) and bring you to the best spots on the happening nights. Well worth it as you bypass the queue and get VIP table service.
As i said we did not take the all inclusive, however we did negotiate with the time share people and got ourselves $350 (initially offered $200 but declined) food and beverage credit which we spent on drinks and food at the pool throughout the day. These are charged to your room and deducted from the bill upon checkout (tips not included). The time share is a hard sell but they were polite and we simply declined. Well worth the 90 mins, plus they bought us lunch.
There is a very handy store across the street and a pharmacy. As well as a McDonalds and Subway. We ate breakfast and lunch in the hotel. Which were both really nice. But the dinner buffett was a little disappointing. So im still undecided if All inclusive is worth it. Although you can order off the menu in the restaurant as well in the evenings.
