My husband and I just recently returned from another Cancun vacation. We also had another couple who went along. I usually recommend the all inclusive, as I prefer not to have to take care of receipts and paying for each meal and drink. The resort itself was nice. The staff are GREAT. They were all very nice, attentive and accomodating. The food was good. Some of the buffets were less pleasing than others but overall ok. The worst things about this resort is the lack of beach front to be able to get in the water. Too many rocks(however, i do know that the government will be replacing sand and beaches from errosion and past hurricanes this year) and the timeshare staff are some of the rudest people i have come accross after trying to turn down their offers!!...but, overall we were pleased with the resort. We have stayed at other resorts that had seperate kids pools and activites and to have small children using the pool bar lounge chairs to jump off of and hang out with adults in the bar areas was a little un-nerving. I wouldn't let my kid hang out with me in a bar so to have them playing all over the bar lounge area in the pool(there were plenty of other areas in 3 seperate pools, including a "kids pool") got to be a bit much at times. This resort is in the hotel zone and there is a public transportation stop right in front of the resort. We were pleased with our stay.

This was our eleventh stay at the Omni it was the usual, friendly staff beautiful rooms great view from the balcony The food was excellent. The all-inclusive is the only way to go dollar for dollar it is the most economical and saves having to pay or sign for everything.
The weather was not bad it rained for a total of 20 minutes the week we were there.. The activities at the pool were friendly with just a touch of competativenes to remind me of New York.
We didn't turn on TV or read a newspaper all the time we were there. It is a true vacation. Young children will love it the pools are not deep and volleyball is available everyday with a swim-up bar serving mixed alcoholic and non-alcoholic mixed drinks
We will be back next year.

My friend and I just got back yesterday from staying at Omni. We were there five days and I couldn't say enough wonderful things about this place! We didn't book the all-inclusive at first, but we upgraded when we got there and I definitely recommend that! DaVinci restaurant was superb! Estabon at Kuku's swim up jacuzzi bar was wonderful, he always had a smile and something nice to say. The food was great, so much variety. The beach was rocky and you couldn't really swim, but I loved the natural setting and there were plenty of beautiful relaxing pools to swim in during our stay. I will definitely go back!

The Omni Cancun continues to be a fabulous resort with beautiful rooms, excellent and personalized service, and a lovely pool and grounds. I have been to the resort 7 times and every time it feels like coming home. We were there again the week of Memorial Day and Mexico is fine!!! I would recommend this resort to anyone - couples, families, young and old. It is perfect for everyone and I will continue to go on my annual trip to this wonderful place!
