The Caribbean Princess is a nice hotel. It is clean and tidy but the food is disgusting. The staff are friendly and the pool is a decent size. The entertainment staff are very friendly and join in the pool games etc. The rooms are quite good but beds are a bit hard. bathroom is good. Rooms are cleaned daily (properly cleaned). If you are planning on getting drunk at the bar think again the booze is the same as the food, so 'all inclusive' means nothing really. We brought booze into the hotel and phoned pizzas in. It did'nt spoil the holiday though because cancun is the buiseness for a night out and the daytime is the same. Watch out for men in white uniforms in cancun, 'security' they will rob you given half a chance so always behave when you spot them. They are NOT the police. They took 20 dollars off of me twice for peeing in street.

We we're impressed with the resort as soon as we entered the lobby. We were a little disappointed in the 3:00 pm check in time as we arrived at 12pm, but that would be our only complaint. The room we stayed in was beautiful with marble floors, and white pillars. Very Very clean!!! The food was excellent with lots of selection. The entertainment staff was great, they kept us hopping all the time. We would definitely stay here again.

I have just come back from a two week holiday in Cancun staying at the Carribean Princess with my boyfriend.
We had a fantastic time over there and there is definately something for everyone of all ages in Cancun.
The hotel was fine, of a good standard and the rooms were cleaned every day with clean towels supplied both for use in thed room and by the pool (which is always handy!)
The staff do their best to accomadate you whilst staying there.
The food was good as well, I am actually a vegetarian and there was always something to eat. Put it this way we never went hungry and I normally stay in 4* plus so I was a bit concerned about staying in this hotel!
The drinks were all free every day including coctails which suited me fine! Although my partner did comment that he thought the corona on tap was watered down. (But apparently after talking to people on the way home they said it was in their all inc hotels)
Well I can honestly say that it was a memorable holiday which now weems like a distant memory of lying by the pool sipping a pina colada! Heaven!
Oh and a visit to the beach club The City (free entry and transport from hotel at 10am) is a must its great fun relaxing with a pool looking over the beautiful caribbean sea.

this was a beautiful hotel we have just came back on the 14th feb 2005 we found it to be incredibily clean all of the staff are really friendly it has an amazing view out on to the lagoon we read some of the reviews before we went away but me and my husband who are both in our 20s and our 6 year old son all enjoyed it the entertainment staff were good although they werent the best shows ive ever seen you were getting them for free so what difference did it make it was a laugh anyway the staff were great with my son really making friends and now to come to the most debated subject.... the food all of my family and most of the people we spoke to found the food to be good again it is not excellent but it is definitley worthy of its three star rating i think some people go expecting the ritz if you book a 3 star hotel and want to stay and a friendly relaxed place in probably the nicest part of cancun within easy reach of everywhere with good rooms nice pools and decent food then the caribbean princess is for you the only thing i would say is there was not a lot of children there when we went but we actually prefer that its enough having your own running around shouting without loads of others there to join in.
