This is more for people that like to drink and dance with LOUD music. I went with my wife and kids (6 and 12) the only part my kids enjoyed was the pirate show (15%) and the eating (5%). I beleive it was to expesive and to crowded. From a Mexican

I love this ship! everything was awesome: music, show, food and drinks. Captain Hook ROCKS!

Note: if you want a romantic dinner, and a quiet trip, don't take this tour, there is another ship for honeymooners. But if you want fun and a loud party, you should go to Captain Hook

You can't do Cancun without the Captain Hook! The cruise was the best part of our trip and we're hoping to make it back to see our Captain and side-kick Barracuda! Be sure to get on the green ship, the bartender makes 'special' drinks and the pirates are top notch!

I gave this a neutral rating because I can see where some would love and some would hate. You have to go with the right attitude. I thought this was going to be catered to children. It's not! Don't get me wrong...there is nothing wrong with taking your children (nothing inappropriate), but it is not a "kiddy" show. It is pretty crowded, but you do have a seat. The food was wonderful, the drinks were plenty, and the music was loud. The pirates put on a little act for you. It's cute. Kids will love it. After that there is lots of dancing. Anyone can dance (plenty of room out on the floor). The crew has a good act, and they try hard to get everyone involved. I was traveling with a 18 month old, that was scared of the loud music. The trip also lasted till about 11:00, so my baby was grumpy and sleepy. I think he was the only one who didn't have a good time. The rest of my family (from age 10 to 67) had a great time. Everyone danced and "got in the act". Just know what to expect when you go.
