The Golden Parnassus is a All-Inclusive hotel that is absolutely wonderful. I must give an extra thank-you to Reyna at the hotel lobby and to Sonia the pool-side waitress. It really was worth the money...
The food was great with the exception of the Sumo Restaurant- not so good. Never a line, and never a wait for a fresh drink. I had the Beef Fillet at 3 of the restaurants on site, and all where great.
The rooms where very, very clean and nice. I had an ocean-view room on the ground level, and what a view it was. Just wonderful!
Trips and activities can all be arranged at the hotel, so no need to book them in advance. I would also like to thank Rae at AquaWorld for being so absolutely nice. We experienced some not-so nice days and she re-arranged our Jungle Tour.
This is the first time I have ever gone All-Inclusive and it was worth it at the Golden Parnassus! If you are wondering where to stay-- I fully recommend Golden Parnassus. I plan to return in the next several months.
*** 5 Tips ***
1.) Bring several US dollar bills.
2.) Tip waitress for each round of drinks, and your glass will never be dry!
3.) Tip house cleaning ladies daily and your room will be 100% spotless.
4.) Pay for the bus in Pesos. Take the cab only to Flea Market 28, or to Wal-Mart, but make sure you get a price before you get in the cab. (Wal-Mart was actually fun! Good place to get meds.)
5.) When you arrive in Cancun, go directly outside and find your transportation: shuttle, cab, or bus. The time-share salesmen and women will try to direct you into their sales area. Don't be afraid to say, "No thank- you."
