The hotel is a little out the way but an easy and quick bus ride it and there's one ever minute or two as it's the only route for a bus.

This hotel was a good choice excellent service great staff food had a great selection and drinks were not perfect but v good for an all inclusive . Overall would highly recommend doubt we'll go to cancun for a 3rd time but if we did this would be our choice. Also make sure you have the passion fruits they're not just decoration our favourite they look different to the normal one alot bigger.

Clean resort and usual riu high standards out of the 3 Riu's in Cancun this for us was the best. One Riu is too lively beer games and loud yanks etc newwer admitidly and the most expensive of the 3 is like a morgue but was quite flashy til they kicked us out because we had the wrong bracelet on lol.

Anyways good choice good value decent food and drink good beach no brainer if Cancun is what you want. We've been twice to Cancun now so was fun but our last visit. Good for a cheap carib style xmas getaway wheni t's cold

We were there in June of 2008. We had previously stayed twice at the Riu Cancun. I preferred the Riu Cancun to the Riu Caribe.

Food could get a bit boring at the buffet
Not much "kid friendly" food at the buffet
Our room had a few ants the first day
The beach did have some seaweed or something that washed up A LOT
Had a bit of a mix up with check in but was quickly taken care of
Some women go topless when they really shouldn't

All in all, we had a great vacation. Great value, WONDERFUL service. The staff was so friendly and helpful!

Just perfect!!! i went with my family last year good experience, staff excellent.

We stayed here for 5 days. It was me and husband and our 5 year old son. All the reviews are right but it depends on what kind of vacation you expect it to be.
Let me start with the good points.We actually got one of the best hotel rooms with the big veranda overlooking the beach and the pool area on the left side. So we watch the sunrise every morning while we have our coffee.Their staff are all very nice and accomodating. The only thing I like about the all inclusive is the unlimited drinks! Although they use the local alcoholic drinks its still unlimited! We even have tequila,rums and whisky in our room bar! They stock our fridge with beer, water and soda everyday! The sad part is that there are way tooo many guests that when you wake up at 7am there arent any beach chairs available anywhere from the pool area to the beach! It was ridicuous! And since it is an all inclusive resort, the food gets boring coz its the same old crap everyday. And let me tell you... DO NOT EAT AT THE ASIAN/CHINESE/JAPANESE RESTAURANT! It is horrible! the worst asian food ever! on top of these... the beach has way tooo much weeds that it looks sooo dirty. People are drinking way too much that i think the water gets dirty. i got sick swimming in the pool! And do not bring kids coz there are a lot of topless girls there and they didnt care! Hahaha!
