Loved this hotel and would visit again. The only complaint I had was the noise from the marble floors.. I would stay in the junior suite if I were visiting again. The food was good the atmosphere was fun at the pool, but nothing compared to the gorgeous beach!

My partner and I stayed at the riu caribe for 2 weeks all inclusive in january. we had booked to stay at the barcelo cancun on arrival it was awful so we upgraded to this hotel. So glad we did it was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. i would recommend it to anyone. The food was fantanstic selection for breackfast. lunch and dinner. All buffets but you can make 2 reservations per week to go to either the steak house or the japanese now we only ate at the steak house but it was really nice. we booked with first choice and i must say they were so brilliant. If you are going there for the clubs,( which we only went clubbing twice) book with the first choice rep its called monday mayhem its only $55 and you get taken to 4 bars and clubs travel is all included and all entries and drinks are free all night so for $55 which is only 26 quid you can't complain for a night. one more thing if you are a steak lover in the town of cancun there is a restaurant called the argentian steak house pricey but the most amazing steak ever!!!! also go to xel ha! swim with dolphins

We travelled in November with first choice, upgraded flight which we all thought was worth the extra money we paid, our rooms we clean and tidy good views from our balcony, food and drinks a plenty although sometimes i found my vodka & coke a little strong but i just got another glass of coke, no bother there, the food was excellent we like our spicy food and there was plenty of that for us but there was also agood choice for those who have a gentler pallet, the only fault i would say is with the entertainment, don't get me wrong they tried their hardest but it was not the best.
Oh just one thing more in the lobby bar there is a barmen vincenzo best barmen ever he's lethel with the tequilla lol.
