The pictures of this hotel do not reflect the true beauty and splendor of the rooms, the lobby or the property in general. I wish that I could move into the CasaMagna, it was absolutely outstanding. Everyone was very helpful, from check in to dinner to helping with transportation or questions regarding the currency. I stayed here for 5 days and almost cried when I had to leave, it was relaxing and beautiful and peaceful. Any meat eating person MUST go to La Capilla, the steak house on premise, it will blow you away with the steaks and ambiance. I will definitely stay here again for an anniversary or other special occasion.

The beds were comfortable, the rooms were very clean, and the views of the ocean are breathtaking.

I am staying at the Marriott CasaMagna in Cancun as I write. I was going to wait until I returned home but, "what the heck", I may as well write while I wait to go out for dinner.

This is a nice hotel. not the best I have stayed at but all in al I am very pleased. Our room is somewhat smaller than I had hoped but the bed is EXTREMELY confortable, theplace is clean and the service has been wonderful. We have a garden view room so we cannot see the ocean, which is just fine with me as I am not much of a "hang around the room" type of guy when I travel. They did offer a $40/night upgrade for an ocean view but I declined.

This is definitely the off-season as the hotel is not very full. There was a business convention or meeting or what not that left on Monday and since then the hotel is pleasantly uncrowded, which makes it nice. I do expect that this weekend...Thanksgiving, will be more crowded but I won't be here to notice.

The beach is small but has really nice, fine, white sand and beautiful azure blue water. I am accustomed to the cold Pacific so it's warm to me but it has been real rough the entire time I have been here. The first few days were cloudy and windy. not cold, but not really beach weather. Again, that is part of the price you need to pay when you travel off season. the pool would be great if you had small children as it is very shallow (4.5') and it just lies there...a pool. There are no activities taking place at the pool. The jacuzzi is large and always full of people but it is only lukewarm.

this marriot is up to par. a suite is a must as the rooms are small. our suite is on a corner with a balcony as big as the room. the water is wonderful. the hotel is basically empty. do not book any activities at their travel agency as they are a rip off.

Stayed at the Marriott Casa Magna for a business trip. This is a very nice hotel.

The hotel itself is beautiful, check in is speedy, service very good. The beach is nice and the pool is fantastic. My room was very nice. The bed was comfortable, good AC, very nice bathroom. I had a balcony with a magnificent view of the ocean. I slept all night with the doors open, it was wonderful.

I ate at the Japanese restaurant at the hotel. The price is reasonable and the food excellent. However breakfast at the hotel in the morning was nearly a $20.00 buffett, typical tourist trap price in Cancun.

The hotel had a very nice gym and had multiple tennis courts. However it was very difficult to get a hold of a tennis instructor.
They also had a spa which I would probably try on my next trip.

All in all a very nice choice for Cancun.
