First the hotel pictures from expedia's website were deceiving, the rooms were nothing like them. This is a hotel for people who just need to sleep somewhere for a couple of hours.
The hotel is not on the main strip and is about 8 blocks from the downtown, doesn't seem like much but if you walk it several times a day it gets to be a bit much. There is a bus stop right on the main road from hotel and it only cost like 45 peso so that is cool. THE BUSES ARE NOTHING LIKE IN THE STATES. People pile in until the is literally no space left. The hotel is off the main road and pass a couple of houses, so I wouldn't suggest walking back there alone late at night, luckily I was with a group of friends and we stuck together.
There are not any elevators and the stairs are very narrow and slippery so be careful. The rooms are small so don't try to pack people in we had two rooms for 5 people. One was a suite with a kitchen, pretty much the size of a standard room in the states. The bathrooms were clean and nice.
The staff at the little bar/pub was very friendly, though they spoke almost no english. We spent 45 mins trying to ask for salad dressing, it was very funny and both us and the staff got a good laugh in the end. Front desk staff was not very helpful at times and we had to ask other people staying at hotel for information. Overall the staff at pub/bar was friendly front desk not so much, small rooms, and bad location. In the end we learned you get what you pay for.
