the hotel was amazing the staff worked so hard and were very very friendly. The entertainment was incredable and the sports and entertainment team work around the clock to provide a variety of entertainment to suit everybody. The food was really nice and there was a good selection. Our sea view apartment had an amazing view and we were on the beach after walking down just a few steps. All round fantastic honeymoon and would definately go back .

We just got back 3 days ago from our 7 day stay at the Gran Caribe Real in Cancun and overall we had a great experience. We had a group of 9 which included 4 adults, 2 teenagers, a 7, 5 and 3 year old. We picked this resort because of the waterslides and the pirate ship slide for the kids. Our room was the Jr Family Suite which had a king size bed and 3 bunk beds and was located right outside the kids club and the slides. The only complaint I have was our room never got cool. After the first night, we ask for a box fan and that helped with cooling down the room and with the noise at night. I'm a very light sleeper and that first night, I could hear everyone that was near our room. The halls echoed really bad. But like I said, once we got the box fan and turned it on high at night, I slept great!

About the food...I have been to several All Inclusive resorts in Mexico, and to be honest, they all pretty much taste the same. I am a very picky eater so what we did was ate 2 meals at the resort and the 3rd meal on the strip which is walking distance. That did get expensive but it was worth it to me.

I would definately recommed this hotel for families with children but not sure I would go if it was just me and my husband. The Gran Caribe Real has a resort for adults only, so when I book a vacation next year for me and my husband, I will check that resort first.

I really don't really know where to begin,maybe the beautiful beach and water,the beautiful and spotless hotel and rooms,the outstanding staff,the entertainment staff,great buffets,tasty drinks,try the dirty monkey,almond toast there very good,there are just to many things to list about why this was one of the best times of my life,we parasailed,aqua twister,salvatica"zip line dunebuggys and swam in a cenote,boated to isla mueres with aquaworld crew they were hilarious,I would strongly recomend this hotel and these attractions,and would like to thank all those who made this trip such a special vacation including those who invited me to come along i cannot thank you enough.

Beautiful Hotel it was alive with the noise from all the guests in the lobby, where you spend a lot of time since they have a band there and the bar, when we got there it was crowded but got checked in fast.
Our room wasn't ready when we arrived because it was earlier than our check in time and they gave us our bracelets to go eat or have a drink so we went back to get our keys after.
When you are in the lobby you get a view of the turquoise of the ocean, the blue sky that looks pale by comparison and the swimming pools on both sides of the bar and lobby, it is a lot to take in, great great experience. I have been in Cancun several times and every time the beauty of the sea gets me.
Our Room was huge since it was located in one of the corners so we had a great view all around with celing to floor windows, very clean room, comfortable and cool.
The staff at the hotel is amazing everybody was smiling and helpful all the time, from the moment we arrived to the hotel to the time we left.
The hotel has 6 restaurants, I didn't get to visit all of them but the four we visited exelled our expectations by a lot since I read reviews in which hotels with all inclusive tend to get very repetive with the food, not this one, it is the same menu but you can get anything you want and there is different food every time at the buffet. The one that is open 24 hours it's great for when you go to a club and get back really late and hungry, they have burgers, hot dogs, nachos, salad etc.
We loved this hotel, we will go back.
