Stayed at the Aqua Cancun for 4 nights in April 2009. Beautiful hotel. Gorgeous views of the caribbean sea. Wonderful pools. Excellent service. Location was great. Across the street from Plaza La Isla and Plaza Kukuclan 5 minute walk down street from hotel. Breakfast buffet at Siete was wonderful. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I have stayed at Hotel Aqua several times in the past, but recently had my destination wedding there with 80 guests in attendance in November, 2008. The location is excellent as it is right across from the main mall La Isla. The service was exceptional, and all of my guests were greeted promptly and were made to feel very welcomed. The hotel is very modern and they have added all the special touches such as aromatherapy in all of the hotel areas. When you check in, you are greeted with a complimentary tea and hand massage. Our rooms were very clean, looked brand-new and we really enjoyed the choice of aromatherapy out of 4 scents. The turn down service was exceptional as well. The concierge floor was closed during our stay but they were able to bring us the room service appetizers each day instead. The pool area is outstanding with many choices and has about 8 different pools. The Azul bar was very nice and the food outside was great! The hotel restaurants served great food as well, both a little pricey and would have liked to have had one choice that was more child and family friendly for a casual dining experience though as both were more upscale. The service for our wedding was great and they did a fantastic job and all of the planning and set-up, food, etc. I can't wait to come back there for my anniversary!!

For a Fiesta Americana hotel the Aqua was quite impressive. From check-in to check-out everyone was extremely hospitable and kind. I even fell sick while staying at the hotel (not food related) and they were kind enough to get me a doctor and at a very reasonable price.

I can't speak for comparable value since I haven't stayed at any other hotel in Cancun since my last trip there 10 years ago however the rooms, facilities and pool area are gorgeous. Impressive place to take a loved one. Drinks and food were very expensive at the hotel but I wouldn't expect anything different at another hotel. Location is great for everything and there is even a small mall and grocery store right across the street.

Exept from Front desk treatment, they are all so great. Hotel gives you and relax ambience and thecomfort of comtemporary stile. magnificent pool and excelent concierge Department. People at front desk are quite distant if you compare them with the rest of the staff. I don't regret having being sent there due to hotels overcrowd.
