Beatiful Large Spaces Minimalistic decor, Relaxing Atmosphere, Shopping mall across the street for the ladies, Ocean Front Rooms have MUCH better view than those with terraces, DON'T LET HIGHER PRICES FOOL YOU THAT THE ROOMS WITH TERRACES ARE BETTER, THEY'RE NOT, Great Service, will definitely stay there again.

Best Fitness Center in Cancun

The pool at Aqua was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed excellent service while relaxing poolside and also walked down to the beach daily for a swim in the Caribbean. The hotel had everything you could possibly need down to ipod hook-ups in the rooms and even on the treadmills! The food was great at all the restaurants and even the poolside food was yummie.
Everything in town was within a short bus ride or cab ride. I would definitely go back to Aqua Cancun for another relaxing trip!

We had a wonderful 3-night-stay at the Aqua last week. The resort is beautiful, with aromatherapy scents throughout the hotel. The pools are amazing, all infinity with one in particular that has a breathtaking view of the ocean. We ate breakfast everyday at Siete, and they had an mazing selection of food. Something for everyone. We showed up on our first day there much later than we expected after a long day of traveling. We were starving a headed straight for the restaurant by the pool, Azur. Unfortunately, they had just closed and we started to walk away when the pool manager stopped us and told us he would be happy to call room service for us and have them deliver something to us by the pool. It was so nice of him, and from then on the level of service continued to exceed our expectations. We went across the street for dinner 2 of the nights, and it was so convenient having 2 malls within walking distance. The bed was very comfortable, and the view was amazing. It was sad because it was so empty, but we still had an amazing time. They didn't skimp on the service. At one point by the pool, we counted 5 guests and 17 employees! We really loved this resort, and felt so relaxed and pampered by the time we left.

A business trip brought me to Aqua in March 2009 and because my company footed the bill, I have no idea what it cost, but I do know I would definitely return. The hotel was immaculately clean. The vibe is very zen-like with tons of aromatherapy scents in the air. The even offer aromatherapy in the room every night free of charge. One night they even brought a rock garden and a water fall which were incredibly helpful with calming my stress levels with my business trip. My room overlooked the center of the main pool, but I think there are at least 7. It looked amazing. The staff was nice, but my one issue was that they were not as prepared for guests as they should have been. I waited over an hour to check into my room, even though the hotel was only at 30% capacity, mainly because the hotel was understaffed (because tourism was down due to Mexico-border violence) . Which was the other down-side. The hotel had a really cool lounge, but there were so few people staying at the hotel that it was near-empty every night. In any case, I've been to Cancun 3 times - twice for personal trips - and this is the best hotel I've stayed at. I would definitely go back and would highly recommend it. (Almost forgot to mention - the spa is AMAZING!!)
