I stayed at the Bel Air, in Cancun Mexico, with 8 other women, during Memorial Day weekend (5/21-5/25). Our ages range from 25-30. It was a beautiful hotel in the perfect location! It was at the beginning of the hotel strip, not very far from all the excitement, but far enough to not be overwhelmed by the party goers. My friends and I had intentions to relax, we were able to do just that, we even partied when we were in the mood. I'd recommend this hotel to couples, friends and even families! When I go back to Cancun, Bel Air will be my first choice!

Although this hotel is not a traditional "All inclusive" resort, we were able to have that option via Expedia. It saved us all the heartache of penny pinching or not indulging. We ate until our bellies were content... and well... drinking...let's just say we had more than our share of drinks! :)

The hotel was clean and worth the price paid. It is right on the ocean and the view from our room was amazing! The conceirge staff were helpful with providing directions and recommendations. We easily booked tours from the hotel.

The staff did a great job cleaning every morning and turning down the room in the evening.

I did not purchase the all inclusive but did eat a light lunch at the hotel restaurant and it was tastey.

The hotel is a bit far down the strip but the bus is convenient and cheap so this wasn't a big issue.

We stayed at this hotel from April 18 to 21. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel from the very moment I stepped foot in the lobby. The lobby is great and well-kept. Everyday the workers would sweep and wipe the floors. As it is the standard for everything that you do around Mexico, tipping goes a long way to keeping your room clean and bed made. We left $2 each morning and then when we would come back from the beach or whatever, everything was like when we first checked in. As for food, although we didn't buy the all-inclusive option, the few times we ate at the restaurant we were pleased with the selection of food and the prices were acceptable. The staff was always friendly and tried to help you whenever you had a question. The only issue we had was the language. They didn't speak English all that well, but because I knew a little bit of Spanish I picked in South America I chose to speak with them in Spanish. The room was rather large with a view of the ocean. At night we had a crystal clear picture of the waves crashing up against the shore with the moon in the background. All in all, it was definitely a good experience and I would strongly recommend this hotel.

We went here to celebrate our college spring break. From the first moment, the staff made us feel very welcome. I never expected a trip to Cancun to be a cultural experience, but it was. We met very few Americans at the Bel Air, and spend lots of time hanging out with our new Mexican and Argentine friends and practicing Spanish. After walking three miles up the beach, we decided that the beach in front of the Bel Air was the best we had seen. It had few rocks, a lifeguard, and was wide and clean. The room was lovely and well kept. Overall, the hotel had a very relaxing feel. Riding the bus to the Hotel Zone is easy and always felt safe, even at four in the morning. It was great to be able to relax during the day and party hard at night.
The food was mostly delicious, especially the cream soups and fajitas. Alfonso, Norberto and Freddie were wonderful during our entire stay. Service was extremely slow, which got frusterating at times, but one needs to remember that they are on vacation and that Mexico time is a little slow. I would definetely reccomend this hotel to a friend.

“Beautiful hotel at a Great price”

Bel Air is a very clean, very beautiful hotel at the southern end of the hotel zone only 10 minutes from the airport.. My wife and I enjoyed staying there from Saturday through Tuesday April 12-15. We did not do the All Inclusive, but we would not recommend the all-inclusive unless you plan on eating every meal at the Bel Air, and drinking a lot of cervezas. Each staff member was extremely friendly. The hotel is quite relaxing, and at night the lighting is gorgeous. When we arrived on Saturday afternoon, we were quickly checked in and escorted to our room which was quite large and also beautiful, clean, air conditioned, and in excellent condition. We quickly changed into swimsuits and had lunch at their restaurant with our feet in the water. We enjoyed many drinks at the swimup bar or sitting in the jacuzzi right at the bar rail. We brought lots of singles and a $1 for each round got us a lot of extras. Although we were not on the all-inclusive, we provided a credit card for all expenses we incurred, and simply had to provide our room number and sign upon leaving the bars or restaurants. The main restaurant's menu is kind of small, but you only have to walk across Kukulcan Blvd a little to the south to find JC Capitans - a great little restaurant on the lagoon side which you must try for a sunset dinner. It doesn't look like much, but the food and service are outstanding. The city busses run 24/7, and only 750 pesos (less than a dollar!) will get you anywhere you want to go and back. A nice walk along the sidewalk to the north will take you to the El Rey ruins, which are small, but interesting, and you will see dozens of iguanas there.
They are CONSTANTLY cleaning at the Bel Air, so you need not worry about it being less than immaculate.
