I was recently in Cancun, Mexico a few weeks ago, with my parents. One evening we went out for a drink at the Congo Bar right across the street from the Coco Bongo (a popular dance club in Cancun). We got there and ordered drinks, right before the waiter brough them my dad got up to go to the restroom, I followed. My dad left the restroom and immediatly after the bathroom attendant threw a small package containing a white substance into the stall, where I was sitting. He leaned over the top and asked me to get out of the stall, he immediatly picked up the package and ran out of the bathroom to get security. The security ran up to me and started yelling, they set me up to make it look like I was doing drugs in the stall. I was in the bathroom alone at the time and the bathroom attendant didn't know I was with my family. I am 22 years old and they thought I was there with my friends. The immediatly asked me for money or told me I am going to jail. However, as soon as they saw my parents get up and interfere, the bar manager shook my dad's hand and asked us to leave. I would like to WARN everyone about the shady people at this bar, these people would do anything to make an extra dollar. DO NOT GO TO THE CONGO BAR IN CANCUN!
