We took the jungle jeep tour and had a great time. Our guide, Pepe, was very informative and entertaining. We thought we would be taking a bus to the jungle to get the jeeps but actually got the jeeps right at La Isla Mall and drove the whole tour. Our group was small, only 10 including the guide. That was very nice. We first went to El Ray ruins. We had gone there last year on our own but had a much better time with Pepe because he guided us though and told us all the history of the Mayans. After the ruins, we drove to the jungle. We only had a short time off-roading which was a little disappointing because of all the hype of the "jungle tour". But what time we did spend driving though the jungle was fun. We all did the zip line for an extra 15.00 each. Is was great fun. Then we went to the cenote which was interesting. After that, we drove to the little town where we had lunch. They advertise a buffet lunch but it was very small. There were fajitas, refried beans, rice, and tortilla chips and drinks. Not really a buffet by our standards. The food they did have was pretty good though. The best part of the trip was the zoo on the way back. There we could feed spider monkeys and the deer. There were also a few parrots and many crocodiles. We were only within a few feet of the crocs with nothing in between us. That was a little freaky but they didn't even move when we walked past them. The guide at the zoo was very informative as well. All in all, it was a great tour, maybe a little over priced per person. There were 3 adults, a 15 year old, and a 12 year old in our partry and we had requested 2 jeeps for comfort but they put us all in one jeep. It was a little cramped for the adult stuck in the back seat. If they are going to do that, they should give a discount to the 5th person, since the price was per person not per jeep. With that being said, we would still definitely recommend this tour.

Joe's jeep adventure was well worth the money. Pepe was very informative. Before the trip I could not stand on a 2 stoery balcony, but thanks to Pepe alowing me to ride the zip line on his back I am cured. The lunch was very good. I have 2 kids 5 and 15 and they both loved the adventure.

This is a well planned tour with all one needs to do during a stay in Cancun, if you only want to spend one single day on a tour and enjoy the rest on the beach. It is fun but also very personnal as you are not dealing with a large motor coach outing but a very small group (season depending). If you are open minded and want to learn about the Mayan Culture but also do crazy things, this is for you, if you have kids, this is also for you, if you are single this is also for you as you won't feel left out as you would in a large group (I know for a fact). Try it and you'll love it. Pepe is lots of fun too!

We found this trip through trip advisor and after reading all the reviews decided we would book it. The process on the Internet was fairly easy but the website seemed a little poor. The trip was the worst day out on our whole holiday. The jeeps were new but this doesn't matter when you drive 30km on straight roads with hardly any off-roading. The Mayan ruins, the zoo and the ceonte were all cheap locations. After noticing the price of all these little areas it makes you wonder why it costs so much? The zip line is not worth the money as it’s not high enough or long enough to make anyone scarred! The lunch was simple and with little choice but the fish is good as well as the pina colada. If you have young kids it might be worth doing but if you like a bit of adventure definitely don't do this tour.

We got to do this adventure with 3 people, myself, my newly "fiance", and our roommate. Pepe was very educational at the Mayan Ruins, and if you tried to go on your own, you would have no idea the history behind it, so it was well worth the money for that. The zip line was awesome, my first time doing, and the cenote was interesting. It is small, but it was a chance to do something you would never have done or known to do on your own. The lunch was great for us. After eating the same bland food day after day at an all inclusive 3 star hotel, the fajita's and assortment was very good for us. Pepe took us thru a very poor town which i don't think most people would venture out on their own to go see. So that was a plus also. Puerto Morelos, where we had lunch also seemed very different from the Cancun strip, not something you would likely venture out on your own to do also. The zoo was very fun, I was wary of holding the baby crocodiles, but i did it and it was an experience! All in all, if you want a GUIDED tour, this is the one to do. Pepe was awesome and we had so much fun with him, so thanks Pepe!
