My friend happened to work at the Marriott so when we booked this courtyard hotel we got it for about 35 a night, super cheap. The hotel turned out to be great inside, had a quiet pool which wasn't used hardly ever so you could relax in the pool all day if you wanted and nobody would bother you, also had a jacuzzi which was great and inside was really great, free business room, a restaurant which the food was okay but the service was awful they where not rude or anything like that, they just took hours to get the food ready. But everything else was great the rooms where 5 star the hotel from inside and outside was 5 star as well, just the people they are a little soft they take hours to do things, i think they got so relaxed living in cancun that they just stayed that way mentally, but besides that it was great. Also do not book any trips using their trip agent downstairs complete ripoff - better ask for a map of cancun which actually cancun is really simple a 5 year old could drive around and not get lost there are sign everywhere, ask for a map and rent a car because this hotel is far away from everything, also the hotel is really cheap because it is so far away but it has hourly trips to the Omni hotel which is in the hotel strip so its like getting everything at a good price. but i really recommend everyone to rent a car!!!!!!!!

Property is first rate - although not on beach. Has hot tub, plasma tv's, ATM, ice machine - a great place for an airport layover away from the tourists.

My husband and I spent our first night of honeymoon in Mexico in this hotel. We arrived on a late plane after a long journey from the Uk and it was lovely to arrive at such a spotless, professionally-run hotel. It was opened in November 2007 so everything is very new. It combines all the comforts of a Marriot with a beautiful Mexican hacienda-style decor. There are polished marble floors, fountains in the lobby and traditional wrought-iron trimmings. Bed was very comfortable. Air-con was fully-adjustable and ice-machines available to help you cope with the heat. We loved the buffet breakfast - nice variety of cooked foods and probably the nicest breakfast we had in Mexico. Waitresses were kind and helpful and made sure we had enough drinks. The mini-supermarket was well-stocked and had a good mix of snacks, drinks and souvenirs. There was also a tourist information point where you could book tours and a decent-sized pool. We appreciated the free shuttle service which took us to the bus station in Cancun so we could travel to our next destination. There is a free shuttle service to the beach every day. It seemed that quite a few people staying there were not the business executives we had expected but families enjoying the fact that it was cheaper there than staying in the main hotel zone. Altogether a great experience for our first night in Mexico.

This hotel is great because its very inexpensive, close to the airport, and relatively new. Since its new, everythings in excellent condition and the room looks great. We wanted a hotel close to the airport to fly out the following morning so we stayed here our last night in Cancun. The hotel exceeded our expectations for the price. It's not near the ocean or town center, but if you've rented a car, it shouldn't be a problem at all. I would definitely do it again.
