Two Stars for the View. The food was bland and overcooked. My lobster was very rubbery. The service was lacking most of the night. I would not return.

In over 12 years of visiting and dining in Cancun, I rate this restaurant the absolute worst. The lobster is small, tasteless and extremely overpriced as was everything on the menu. The wait staff was horrible. Not worth your time or money.

Beautiful atmosphere -- make sure to secure an outdoor table. As others have noted, it can be very pricey, particularly since they push lobster dishes that are no better than one can get in the States for much less. However, if you stick with local fish, which are less expensive and better prepared, you can do fine here.

The setting is spectacular on the bay side of the Hotel Zone. We ordered a variety of dishes ranging from fish to shrimp to steak and all were excellent. The soups we had were particularly tasty.

The prices are steep, but no worse than in any major city at a top restaurant. Maybe if the first page of the wine list wasn't only bottles over $100 it would be less shocking.

But the service was, ahem, not so good. We arrived promptly for our reservation and had to wait a few minutes while those without reservations were seated in front of us. One of our orders was completely wrong and not replaced until all the others had nearly finished eating. The valet brought us a nice car when we left. It just wasn't ours. And they wanted to argue with us about whether it was.

Despite the glitches, we had a lovely time in a beautiful setting.
