We walked in and got a table, which was nice. The clam chowder and lobster (they are know for it) were outstanding. The grouper was OK. We had a great table on the lagoon.

When we told the waiter the dish ("Bruja ...) we picked from their menu he asked how would we like our meat etc. He suggested a few ways to eat that dish (Bruja..). When the check came we were charge much more because our dish turn out to be another dish. After taking the waiters suggestions in how to eat "Bruja.." he did not tell us it was going to cost twice as much.
We expressed our disagreemet, he did not care.
Way overpriced, meat was good, lobster rubbery, left $40 untouched lobster, nice settings, will never come back.

view is nice, but the worst lobster i've ever had.

We ate at Lorenzillo's while in Cancun in February 2009. My husband and I both ordered fillet mignon stuffed with lobster and shrimp with a bernaise sauce and it was delicious. The fillet mignon was so tender it could have been cut with a fork. I had read reviews that indicated the prices were steep but we found them to be typical of any tourist location. The restaurant sits on the water and outside dining with a fantastic view is available. We found the service to be good as well.
