I have eaten here twice now, and every time is a wonderful experience. Beautiful lagoon, great service, and impeccable food. The price is steeper than other places, but it is worth the quality. I think they by far have the best lobster in the city (even better than Lorenzillio's) and our tableside Caesar Salad was perfectly seasoned. They also have great steaks, and a variety of carpaccio's and sashimi's....good for any lover of seafood or steak!

The food was over-priced. Further, we ordered Kobe beef and I had difficulty cutting it, so I doubt it was Kobe. Although he tried, the server didn't understand english, and they put us near the entrance despite being empty.

We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Not b/c we heard anything bad, but b/c we are not steak house people. We brought our 3 year old at 6pm and the place was full and they treated us like royalty. They have efficient service and the views cannot be beat (like most of the rest on this side of the road). The NY cut was extraordinary. The only negative was that my wife sent her's back as it was undercooked and they overcooked it. This may have been a language problem or they simply got too busy. I would be very careful if doing the same.
Our next favorite restaurant was John Grays in old Cancun. I would make sure that you get a taxi as its a bit tricky to find on your own.

Loved Puerto Madero! I'd recommend the prime rib either on or off the bone, the creamed spinach with artichokes, the potato souffle - a must have - the salads and tartare. The lamb was good, but the prime rib was better. Stay away from the skirt steak as it was awful. For dessert the caramel crepes are made tableside - not only delicious but fun to watch. We paired our meal with an Argentinian cabernet (priced at 440 pesos, don't remember the name) which we all enjoyed.
