Recommend by the concierge and across from the Ritz Carlton, we took our kids (8 & 10) for dinner with a reservation. Seated quickly, then everything went south. When we didn't order alcohol, it was like we moved to the bottom of the priority list. Took a long time to place our order. There is no childrens menu (concierge should have known that).

We ordered steaks (which were huge and fine), my son ordered a meat & vegetable pasta dish (about $17) and my 8-year old just wanted a dish of plain noodles. When the bill came (lonnnng after dinner was done) they charged us $18 for her noodles. We asked the waiter if it was a mistake as my son's dish was larger and had meat and vegetables. He said, no that was what they would charge for her special order PLAIN PASTA NOODLES! We asked for a manager, he came back and said the manager was not willing to talk with us.

Very disappointing experience and probably a $140 dinner without drinks.

I originally went on a girls trips to Cancun a couple of years ago. We ate at this restaurant and I came away thinking "WOW!" Fast forward to this past weekend. I had raved so much about it that my husband wanted to try it. Let me tell you, it didn't disappoint. After looking at the menu and the descriptions, we decided to try their Fire Tuna. If you like sashimi or have ever had poke in Hawaii - this was awesome. Next, my husband ordered the halibut and I had the steak. The fish was very good, but the steak was just as good as I remembered. We loved it so much, we went back 2 days later. If you go, Milham was our waiter both times. He gave us excellent service and also gave us great recommendations on our second dinner. The Buenos Aires salad was really good, it didn't feel too heavy but was very fulfilling. Milham recommended the buttered Tuna on top of a bed of potatoes for my husband and he was right on. I wish we had a restaurant like this in Houston. Overall, I think the price is a steal. On the first night, my husband and I ordered an appetizer, two empanadas, a steak, a fish dish and a dessert for little over a $100 (I forgot to include the pina colada and a beer). The second time, we ordered an appetizer, two entrees, desert, a mixed drink and two waters for $80. I would recommend making reservations since it gets really packed. If you decide to sit outside, it's nice to look out over the water during sunset. If it's really hot and you like AC, the inside is just as beautiful - you can always request a table right next to the window.

We made reservations for 8pm two days before with a request for seats outside, but we still weren't seated until about 9:30-10pm at the area by the crowded door. We talked to the hosts plenty of times as they would just seat some people who just came in, WITHOUT reservations. I understand that they were busy but even the other customers who also had reservations, were complaining because they had been there for even longer. There was a small area for people to sit and wait therefore almost EVERYONE had to stand for hours by the door and wine cellar. It was VERY crowded and just hoped that it was all worth it. I ordered baby lobsters which was great and my boyfriend, friend and her husband had steaks. The steak had to be cooked for 30-45 minutes as it is very thick. Food was excellent but it does come with a price. My boyfriend's steak was 790 pesos and the sides were 80-100 pesos each. Our meal totaled to about 1000-1750 pesos per person without alchoholic beverages. We didn't really mind as the food was excellent and our servers were wonderful. Overall, it was great just expect to wait even with reservations.

I have eaten here twice now, and every time is a wonderful experience. Beautiful lagoon, great service, and impeccable food. The price is steeper than other places, but it is worth the quality. I think they by far have the best lobster in the city (even better than Lorenzillio's) and our tableside Caesar Salad was perfectly seasoned. They also have great steaks, and a variety of carpaccio's and sashimi's....good for any lover of seafood or steak!

We will be back!
