This charming and nice hotel is located right on the beach. It has nice clean rooms and great pool and deck overlooking the ocean (the deck is so nice there was a wedding going on there!). The hotel also has a resturant and bar. The hotel is right in the center of the great town and a great place to really meet people and expericane the culture. The hotel is a great deal and is definatly a better option then the large, expensive, and commerical Cancun resorts.

We recently returned from our first visit to Puerto Morelos. We stayed at Hacienda Morelos and were very pleased with the location, hospitality and service. The only drawback is that the beach area in front of the hotel is not kept as clean of sea grass as the beaches north of the main pier. However, that being said, the patio area, pool area, and view from your room more than make up for the fact that there is sea grass on the beach. The service at the hotel is super. Nice, clean rooms with fabulous views. We ate at the hotel restaurant, Bodo's, one evening and were not disappointed. Very good food. The location of the hotel is perfect. You can walk into town to all of the great restaurants and also take a nice long walk on the beach north of town. The dive shop at the hotel set up a great snorkeling trip for us. Do not miss snorkeling at the reef area in front of PM. Excellent trip!

We stayed for one night before our yoga retreathouse was ready for us. I arrived early and checked in, then waited for friends to arrive. After meeting them at the open lobby, I walked them to our first floor room, opened the door, then walked the length of the spacious room and opened the door opposite the one we had just entered. This door opened onto the pool and the sea. The sounds of the sea washed over us, and my friends were literally wowed. It was a lovely hotel with a charming desk clerk. We would definitely come back.
